  • Farmers Market to reopen July 4th

Horsforth Farmers Market will reopen at the new venue of St Margarets Church on July 4th and at the slightly adjusted time 9.30am till 12.30pm. The venue will make it possible to have a one way system cycling the outside of the church and give plenty of room of maintaining social distancing. There won't be children games but we hope there will be live music to enjoy as you take in the 17 food stalls.

  • Private Prayer In Church

From June 15th Churches have been given permission to open for private prayer if they can do so safely.
A few churches in Horsforth are making plans to do so on different days of the week.

  • Accessing the local church online

Church life, worship, prayer, care is having to be expressed in fresh ways at the moment. Churches continue to be active in supporting those in our community and also providing opportunities for worship and prayer online. These are detailed on Church Online Services page.

  • Horsforth Community Aid Project

HCT are working as a partner organisation with Horsforth Community Aid Project(HCAP) to respond to the needs that emerge in this community, particularly around lack of access to food and social contact because of having to shield. HCAP has a facebook page.

Market Wins Top Prize
Horsforth Farmers Market was named Farm Shop and Deli market of the year in 2018. It was recommended for its variety of stalls, the range and quality of entertainment and the community spirit. The market is based at St Margaret's Primary School in the car park. This market runs on the first Saturday of the month 9-12.30 excluding January.
